“Aren’t you jealous at all?” Ronnie asked.
“Nah.” Paige shrugged. “I know Ty loves me. And look at the Baumgartners. And my parents. They’ve been together for a long, long time. Monogamous couples end up divorcing because someone ends up cheating, right? But if you’re open—it’s not cheating.”
“And you don’t mind sharing him?” Ronnie asked.
“Well, I haven’t actually shared him,” Paige confessed. “We were just with Aiden. So, I guess he was really sharing me…”
“I bet you’d get jealous if you had to share him with another girl,” Ronnie predicted.
“I don’t think so.” Paige looked thoughtful. “I mean, have you seen him? He’s so fine. I think watching him with another girl would be incredibly sexy.”
“Actually, we have seen him.” Gretchen grinned when Paige’s eyebrows went up. “You left your door open…”
Paige smiled. “And did you like what you saw?”
“Hell yeah,” Gretchen replied. “That boy is built.”
“And you’re not so bad yourelf,” Ronnie chimed in.
“You know, if you really want to be in an open relationship, you really should test your theory,” Gretchen said slyly.
“That makes sense.” Ronnie met Gretchen’s eyes, smiling. “Definitely.”
“What are you proposing?” Paige cocked her eyebrow.
“I’d volunteer to be a test subject,” Gretchen offered, looking at Ronnie. “In fact, both of us could help test your theory…”
“Oh yeah?” Paige looked between the two of them.
“You think Tyler would be into it?” Ronnie asked.
“The chance to be with me and two other girls?” Paige snorted a laugh. “Uh yeah, I think he just might.”
“There’s just one thing…” Gretchen slid her hand over Paige’s thigh. “We should all probably see if the three of us are compatible first.”
