That’s right…it’s my birthday. I’m thirtymumble…
Actually, that’s the last year I can say that. Mr. Kitt asked this morning, “Next year, will you be 39a? Then 39b?” *grin*
I’m considering it!
So, in honor of my birthday, I’d like to give you a gift.

Hmm…quickies are the energy bars of sex. Something you could survive on if you had to, but not the best way to thrive and live your life. They can be great to kickstart a day or an evening out–get you all revved up and make you hungry for more to come later.
Of course, sometimes that can be a bad thing. Sort of like the reputation Chinese takeout gets, you have it, enjoy it, but want more just a short time later. Which, naturally, can lead to frustration if you don’t maneuver that energy into something more worthwhile.

Quickies can be very hot – and they always work much better (for me, at least) with someone I know well. Already knowing what gets them hot and gets them off, and vice-versa, just makes it hotter!

I enjoy writing quickie stories. Nothing like a quick, 669 or 869 word(or less) erotica story. The challenge for me is to get the sex in soon enough, since my long stories I can write over 3,000 words before anything happens but don’t have that kind of word room in a quickie. Now I just need to find a new contest for my quickies (one where the job appreciates man on man stories).

I love quickies–yes, sometimes I want something longer, but other times a quickie hits the spot. I think they’re very hard to write, so kudos to those who do it well!
